iF You don’t HAVe tHe tiMe or desire to go through invasive procedures, current
technological advancements have added treatments so that you often don’t have
to. You can literally go in during your lunch break to have your skin tightened, fill in
wrinkles with a dermal filler, get a microdermabrasion, and so on, and (depending
on your skin’s temporary reaction to such treatments) go back to work looking years
younger.
Such swiftness is one of the reasons why, according to the ASAPS, non-surgical
procedures continue their leap in popularity. the top five of these procedures in 2007
included Botox, Hyaluronic acid (restylane, Juvederm, etc.), laser hair removal, microdermabrasion,
and laser skin resurfacing.
non-surgical procedures like dermal fillers and Botox are viable options for someone
who, for various reasons, is unable to commit to anything more extensive. the
advancements in this particular area of cosmetic surgery are actually starting to produce
results every bit as dramatic and permanent as surgical procedures. For example,
lipodissolve, available locally at Advanced lipo and wellness Centers in Modesto, further
improves on the aforementioned liposuction techniques and cellulite reduction. it
is a series of injections of phosphatidylcholine deoxycholate (PCdC), which eventually
causes fat cells to dissolve and get flushed out of the body permanently.
dr. Mcnemar also utilizes the latest non-invasive approaches as much as possible.
Just approved last year by the FdA, a new dermal filler called ArteFill is actually permanent,
unlike its contemporaries that are eventually absorbed into the body. in the
area of cellulite reduction, eleme Medical’s SmoothShapes uses a non-invasive, laserbased
system (Photomology) to reduce cellulite’s appearance.
