great music as the Concert in the Park
series continues for its fifty-sixth year.

Ceres Drive-in Theater
1651 Whitmore Ave., Ceres
(209) 537-0832
www.cerestheater.com
A mere $12 gets an entire carload of
people in to see two of Hollywood’s latest
releases on the big screen at this retro
theater. Open only on the weekends, this
flea market by day turns into a drive-in
theater when the sun goes down, showing
different movies each weekend on its one
screen. Just like the good old days, the
movie sound is accessible through your
car radio, and there is even a concession
stand for those timeless movie-watching
munchies. The only theater like it in our
area, this blast from the past is worth
packing up the car and making the trip
south of Modesto.

overlooking the Delta … if you don’t mind
people dancing next to your table, or your
fellow diners getting caught up in watching
the multiple big screen TVs throughout the
restaurant.
